It’s Sunday and unfortunately, unlike last weekend, this is not a three-day weekend. It’s back to the grind tomorrow! Then again, I often work more on weekends than on weekdays, so I guess it depends. In any case, we have another tricky NYT Strands grid to solve, and a bunch of words to uncover, so let’s get to it!
Strands is the newest game in the New York Times’ stable of puzzle games. It’s a fun twist on classic word search games. Every day we’re given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day’s theme.

Today’s Strands Breakdown
I was pretty sure this was going to be some kind of collection-themed Strands, but it still took me awhile to find my first word, STAMP. That confirmed it, and pretty quickly I found COIN and COMIC. At this point I started looking for something with the word COLLECT in it, and after a bit of tinkering found the spangram, COLLECTIBLES. VINYL was next, followed by PLUSHIE, and the last word was pretty obvious even though it was also pretty long: BOBBLEHEAD.
